Torres performed a laboratory experiment where the groups were similar at the start and there was a 100% completion rate. The groups were treated the same and there was no competing interest. |
| Applicability |
Even though the samples were bovine teeth they were representative of the patient as the sample was a tooth that was capable of receiving whitening treatment. Treatment is feasible in an at-home (or clinical) setting as it is toothpaste and mouth rinse. The benefit seen in the study was whitening of the teeth, no harms were listed. |
